Eudes Budhai is assistant superintendent of secondary education at Peekskill City School District in New York. He has also held superintendent roles at Nyack Public Schools and Westbury Union Free School District in New York.

Budhai was born and raised in New York City to immigrant parents. He began his career in education as a paraprofessional with the New York City Board of Education while simultaneously working to obtain his degree to become a bilingual special education teacher. He then joined the Mount Vernon School District where he served as an educator, chair and principal. In 2013, he joined the Westbury Union Free School District where he served as assistant superintendent for curriculum, instruction and personnel before being named superintendent in 2017.

Budhai is fluent in Spanish, is a nationally recognized expert on racial equity and inclusion, and has spoken at seminars and conventions for the National Association for Bilingual Education, the New York State School Boards Association, ALAS and others. He is a recipient of the Trailblazer in Education award by the Nassau County Executive and the Town of North Hempstead Hispanic in Leadership Award.
